Newborn's Conversation with God
To all you moms, or those that will be a mom someday... A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?" God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you." The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy." God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy." Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?" God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak." "And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?" God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray." "Who will protect me?" God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life." "But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore." God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you." At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name." God said, "You will simply call her, "Mommy."

THE FAMILY BIBLE
I can see us sitting round the table

when from the family Bible 'Mom' would read

I can hear my mother softly singing

rock of ages rock of ages cleft for me

There's a family Bible on the table

each page is torn and hard to read

But the family Bible on the table will ever be my key to memory

At the end of day when work was over and

when the evening meal was done

'Mom' would read to us from the family Bible

And we'd count our many blessings one by one I can see us sitting'...

This old world of ours is full of trouble

but this old world would also better be

If we'd find more Bibles on the tables

and mothers singing rock of ages cleft for me

Ah, today is GOD'S SPECIAL DAY.. all days are His! But Sunday's is his special day, and oh how I enjoy worshipping and praising with other Christians. THANK YOU GOD! And just knowing all HE has done for us, and all of HIS plans for us, (even the ones we don't yet know).. amazes me. Reminds me of the song:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your wonderful Son, for Your love, grace, mercies, and for forgiving and saving us. Thank You for my loving husband and our family, thank You for our extended families, our church families, our friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Bless each of us please, SPIRITUALLY, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and with inner peace and safety. Help Leisa tomorrow to find our her health problem, and guide her doctors to make the right decisions to successfully treat her problem, Carole's also, and thank You. Father, please help us to be forgiving and loving towards others, and to live a life that is pleasing to You. Thank You for everything, in Jesus name we pray, giving You our love, honor, praise, thanks and glory, amen.
