ONE OF THOSE DAMP DREARY DAYS!

OH, HASN'T IT BEEN ONE DAMP ,DREARY, RAINY DAY?
JUST MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE CURLING UP WITH YOUR MATE AND GETTING REALLY COMFORTABLE AND TAKING A LONG NAP!
NO, THIS ISN'T OUR PICTURE.. actually it's baby sloths : }
==============
Hasn't it rained enough today to make your arthritic bones hurt?
Mine surely does.. but, still I worked today (thankfully) and then stopped by my lovely daughter-n-laws and picked up the really awesome gift they got me for Mother's day "THANKS, CHRIS, LILY, KAYLA AND ANNA, I LOVE ALL OF YOU". Then I came home and got the tomatoes and celery added into the macaroni salad for the dish that the church is serving the students from VMI AND W&L tonight. The fudge marble cake, I completed last night with the chocolate butter cream icing. Anyway, we ran them up to the church this evening so they could take them. They seemed pleased, thankfully. Pray for their safety traveling.

No, I haven't kicked back yet, but I bet I will after supper! Norman sat there and napped a short while, a little earlier while we were waiting for time to run those two dishes up to the church. Sounded really peaceful, but I was afraid that if I joined him, we would be to late getting the dishes up there.
-------------------
We are having chicken stew with dumplings tonight for supper. It' s one of those HOME STYLE BAKES by Banquet. Looked perfect for tonight! And I made a little extra macaroni salad, so we'll eat it too.. Want to join us?
-----------------
Somehow I plan on getting those other corsages done today! They aren't due until June, but I just want to give these over to Kristie, and then she'll know that they are all DONE! Hopefully it will give her a little peace that at least they are done, and waiting for 'the big day'. I HOPE SO!
--------------------------------
UPDATE: YIPPY! I DID GET THEM DONE!!! ALL THREE, COMPLETE WITH THE RIBBONS ; ) I surely hope Kristie likes them.

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. "amen"

Father, forgive me for complaining, honestly I don't mind the rain, and I enjoy the extra naps, so thank You! Thank You for my loving husband, our precious family, our extended families, our church families, our friends, neighbors and co-workers. Bless each of us please SPIRITUALLY, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and with inner peace and safety. Please Father help Mom with her back, and Carole with her heart (and possible blockages) and Leisa with her health problem. Let them feel Your healing touch and be drawn closer to You.
