THANK YOU FOR A SPECIAL DAY

IN HONOR OF MY SISTER BETTY JO'S BIRTHDAY TODAY
Life is precious
As we grow old
Full of memories
That we do hold
Of all the places
Where we have been
Of tears and laughter
And hopes and dreams
Life is eternal
With God above
Who gave us life
Filled with His love.

AND THANKFUL TO ALL OF OUR SOLDIERS AND VETERANS

These men and women
Soldiers all
They served us proud
Their duty call
They gave their lives
For us to be
Safe from harm
And living free
Don't ignore peace
Lest we forget
The greatest gift
From each honored vet
Keep their spirit close
In memory
They died protecting
Our liberty

Today was another wonderful day at church. Another great message, more songs of praise, and even a guest singer. Today, they honored the graduates. GOD BLESS EACH OF THEM. I wish, hope and pray that jobs will soon become more plentiful!
PRAY WITH ME ON THIS, PLEASE AND THANK YOU. It is hard now for anyone wanting a job, or to change jobs (for whatever reason), but I can only imagine for those that has spent years in collage working towards a particular goal, and repeatedly being told that "no jobs are available".. So, pray with me that JOBS WILL BECOME FAR MORE ABUNDANT, IN OUR STATES AND COUNTRY .
NOTHING IS TO BIG FOR OUR GOD TO ARRANGE! RIGHT?

Norman, Leisa and Nathan came for lunch today. Abigail was already here (so she could go to church today ; ) Anyway, we had 'summer time food' semi- hot chicken legs, hamburgers with all the works. A veggie plate and dip, green beans cooked "country style" with whole potatoes, and macaroni salad (with our special dressing). Norman and Leisa also brought up a large bowl of watermelon. Delicious! But they are gone already. Norman (my husband) has already went down to his Boiling Springs School reunion and returned, and no church tonight (because of Memorial Day) so I guess I will get these dishes done and kick back for awhile, (I am still tired from yesterday). THANK YOU GOD!

Wishing for each of you a safe and wonderfully relaxed evening,
filled with GOD'S LOVE.
