"Wool Gathering: A Sheep Family Reunion"When the sheep family gets together,
even the odd relatives are welcome!
Once a year they gather - Woolverton,
Once a year they gather - Woolverton,
Little Bo Sheep,Felice, Uncle Abe Ram,
and the rest of the fleecy flock.
It's baa-dminton here, sheep dipping there,
It's baa-dminton here, sheep dipping there,
brunching and lunching everywhere.
It's kissing and hugging
for each little lambly
in this wild and woolly close-knit 'fambly'
Aren't you excited to be invited?

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. John 21:16 "... He saith unto him, "Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee." He saith unto him, "Feed my sheep." John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

Today started out with us getting things ready to take, and going to help decorate for the family reunion. Norman's Mother's side of the family. The Wolfe Reunion, a very loving bunch : ). There was A LOT of people there too! And way more than enough food, without a doubt. GUESS WE HAVE ALL BEEN BLESSED. And no one looked like they had been starving in order to take a covered dish : ) . I must say that it's the first time I ever went to a family reunion that we've had a "mini-auction" .. with Norman's cousin's husband George being the auctioneer as well as the DJ. The kids and younger ones especially loved the music. It was cute watching them trying to 'line dance'. George did a GREAT JOB! And the auction went really well.. guess we'll try to take even a few more extra things next year. They'll use the money for paying for the rent on the Moose shelter (for this year) , and for paper products and such for next year. Thanks God.
And it was rather fun too! The fun was even in watching some of them bid against each other, (but it was all in good fun, and a lot of laughter).
THANKS GOD, FOR SUCH A LOVING 'FLOCK', it was another enjoyable reunion. Even though we did miss the ones that wasn't there. But maybe next year, LORD'S WILLING!

All three of our Son's were there, and one took his family. Enjoyed having them all there, and hopefully the rest will be with us next year, Lord's willing. Abigail had spent Friday night, so she was already with us, and excited to be with her cousins as well as friends, Lucus and Chyanne to name a few. Her and Chyanne have been friends since they were about 6 months old (as well as babies can be, but ahhhh, they sure was cute, and even then enjoyed each other.) And her and Lucus are in the same class at school, and they also are pretty good buddies.

Oh, please continue to keep Leisa in You prayers. She is still waiting on getting everything done that needs to be done so she can have her health issue taken care of. Pray for guidance for her doctors also, and a quick recovery.
Please and thank you.

We left there a little after 5 in order to go with Mom and Gene to the hymn sing down in Clifton Forge last night. I had to clean and change Abigail's clothes and wipe my feet and legs (flip-flops) before we went on down to Clifton. It started at 7:00 but you needed to be there by 6:30 in order to get a seat, and for once, it was A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE ALSO. And the singers did GREAT. Thank You God for the privilege to safely praise and worship You, and for all the other like minded Christians that also just want to openly worship You. Mom and Gene seemed to enjoy it as much as we did (everyone seemed to really enjoy it) and Abigail enjoyed it until around 9:30 , then she took a nap until it was over with : ) .. We stopped by McDonald's on the way home for a little snack since we hadn't ate any supper. Then on home and get things ready for church tomorrow.

I Love You Lord
I love You, Lord, and I lift my voice
to worship you, oh my soul, rejoice.
Take joy, my King, in what You hear,
may it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your ear.

It is the VETERAN,not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion. And the freedom to openly praise and worship our Lord. ( so THANKS, to every veteran)
(yet without God's help, it still would not be possible) and always, THANK YOU GOD.

GIVE THANKS
Give thanks with a grateful heart
Give thanks to the Holy One
Give Thanks because He has given
Jesus Christ His son
And now let the weak say I am strong
And now let the weak say I am strong
Let the poor say I am rich
Because of what the Lord
Has done for us.
And now, let the weak say I am strong
Let the poor say I am rich
Because of what the Lord
Has done, for us.
Give thanks,
Give thanks,
Give Thanks.
Give Thanks.
