HAPPY BIRTHDAY NORMAN

His family is his pride and joy!
And I am totally meaning that in
a good way!

We started out by getting up, having a cup
of coffee and some breakfast. Getting ready
and going to Sunday school and church!
Then on back home to get a 'birthday lunch'
fixed, and cake baked. I made Pineapple
upside-down cake for today. Abigail decorated it
with a few hearts (that actually goes on cupcakes)
and one candle ; ) ... For lunch I 'settled on'
fried chicken, and buffalo 'legs'.. buttered
potatoes, macaroni salad (our way),
fresh corn on the cob, and rolls.

Nathan and Abigail decided to go
ahead and spend the evening and night
here "since I am off now", and school is
out! That's fine with us. They are a joy!
They are always welcome. Maybe it will
give Norman and Leisa a little 'alone' time
for once. Everybody needs some time to
kick back now and then, for sure!
And after them both helping with the
wedding yesterday, I am sure they can
use a little extra rest.
Besides Leisa still isn't feeling really good
and to top it all off, her shingles are coming
back : ( Could be because of stress, I'd think.
Well, GOD BLESS AND HELP HER PLEASE.
Still keep her in your prayers,

we all came in, and Abigail finished it
up with "and many moooooore"
It was a surprise, and sooo cute!
And granddad followed up with
prayer just before lunch!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus.
Thank You for Your love, grace, mercies, and many
blessings. Thank You for forgiving and saving even me.
Thank You for Norman, our lives, health, love, closeness,
and marriage. Thank You for our precious family, and the
love and closeness we share. Thank You for our
extended families, our church families, our friends,
neighbors, and co-workers (WE NEED SUMMER JOBS,
PLEASE). Bless each of us spiritually, physically,
emotionally, mentally, financially, and with inner
peace and safety. Bless Leisa with the news she
needs to hear, and that she is able to soon have
her surgery and quickly heal! Bless our soldiers
with protection and safety, and them and their
families with inner peace and happiness. Bless our
country please and guide our leaders to lead in
the way You would have them to lead. Draw us all
closer to You and help us all to KNOW THAT YOU
ARE STILL IN CONTROL! Thank You God in
all things, we give You our love, thanks, praise,
honor, and glory in Jesus Holy name, amen.
