Where's My Wife?

Two old guys are pushing their carts around Walmart when

they collide. The first old guy says to the second guy,
"Sorry about that. I'm looking for my wife,
and I guess I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."

The second old guy says, "That's OK, it's a coincidence.

I'm looking for my wife,
too. I can't find her and I'm getting a little desperate."
The first old guy says, "Well, maybe I can help you find her.
What does she look like?"

The second old guy says, "Well, she is 27 yrs old, tall, with red hair,
blue eyes, long legs, and is wearing short shorts.

What does your wife look like?"

To which the first old guy says,

"Don't remember, let's look for yours."

Today was a rainy ole day here.. When it wasn't raining, it was

THUNDER AND LIGHTENING! I could do without that, and

don't like being out in it! How about you?

Just made it a lazy ole day, seemed like I was either cooking

or cleaning the kitchen! (somethings wrong with all of that : )

We kept thinking that we were going to spray two of the tomatoes

plants with Epsom salt, but then the rain would start again..

MAYBE TOMORROW..

They need sprayed because the two of them are turning yellow,

well at least some of the leaves on them are ; {

Homer just wanted to be a lap dog today!

He is scared of the thunder, as many dogs are.

Somehow, he seems to think that if he's on my lap,

or under my legs at the computer that he's safe : )

Well, nothing wrong with that.

Feeling safe is a 'GOOD THING'

He sure made the cat "Missy" jealous today!

She thinks my lap is for her only : )

Ah, but they are both BLESSINGS TO US!

We've been praying, and watching the paper for a job, under

the help wanted. Guess we need to take a lot more action

if we plan on actually finding something.

Pray for us please, and for Jeff, and Sandy about finding

a decent job... (mine either a great job, or a summer job)

GREAT JOBS ALL AROUND WOULD BE NICE : )

LORD'S WILLING! IT WOULD TAKE A MIRACLE FOR

US TO GET THE JOB WE'VE BEEN PRAYING ABOUT,

BUT THEN NOTHING IS TO BIG OR TWO SMALL FOR

MY GOD! AND THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS.

We walked upon the streets of gold beside the Crystal Sea.

You turned and saw this young man,

and he was smiling as he came.

He said, "Friend you may not know me now,

" and then he said, "But wait -You used to teach my Sunday School,

when I was only eight.And every week you would say

a prayer before the class would start.

And one day when you said that prayer,I asked Jesus in my heart."

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, and His sacrifice.

Thank You for Your wonderful love, grace, mercies, and

blessings. Thank You for forgiving and saving even me.

Thank You for placing Mrs Burr, and the others like her

in my life from an early age on. She truly was a blessing.

Thank You for Norman, our lives, health, love, closeness,

and marriage. Thank You for our loving family. Thank You for

our extended families, our church families, our friends, neighbors

and co-workers (please help us to find jobs, show us Your will for us)

Bless each of us spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally,

financially and with inner peace and safety. Bless our country ,

guide our leaders, and help all to know that YOU ARE GOD,

AND STILL IN CONTROL! Grant our soldiers protection and safety,

and them and their families (Joann) inner peace. Draw us all

closer to YOU. Thank You Father, in all things, and we

give You our love, thanks, praise, honor, and glory in Jesus

precious and holy name, amen.
