JUST DROP A WORD OF KINDNESS
in a minute it is gone;
But there's half-a-hundred ripples
circling on and on and on.
They keep spreading, spreading,
spreading from the center as they go,
And there is no way to stop them,
once you've started them to flow.
Drop an unkind word, or careless:
Drop an unkind word, or careless:
in a minute you forget;
But there's little waves a-flowing,
and there's ripples circling yet,
And perhaps in some sad heart
a mighty wave of tears you've stirred,
And disturbed a life was happy
Where you dropped that unkind word.
~~~~~~~~~~
Drop a word of cheer and kindness:
just a flash and it is gone;
But there's half-a-hundred ripples
circling on and on and on,
Bearing hope and joy and comfort
on each splashing, dashing wave
Till you wouldn't believe the volume
of the one kind word you gave.
Drop a word of cheer and kindness:
Drop a word of cheer and kindness:
in a minute you forget;
But there's gladness still a-swelling,
and there's joy circling yet,
And you've rolled a wave of comfort
whose sweet music can be heard
Over miles and miles of water
just by dropping one kind word.
GOD BLESS!
I came home from work today
and done a little sewing for two
of my co-workers. Thankfully I
got it all done. I was struggling
on one of the three items.. My
machine just did not want to sew
the material!.. But I got it finished.
And then I started hemming the sleeves
on Norman's suit jacket (by hand) for the
upcoming weddings. I still have to buy a
spool of thread to put the buttons back on.
"maybe tomorrow"
the first wedding is Saturday!
-----------------------------------
After I get the supper dishes done, I
plan on working on the first set of
jewelry for me to wear to the first wedding.
I like doing them myself, I can pretty much
get them to match perfectly "for me".
Others may not think so : / but O well!
The new beads that Abigail and I picked
out came today : } I like them, and I
think she'll be happy with them too.
I just don't know yet what she is going to wear.
Her Easter dress is up here, and
still looks like it hasn't been worn ???
------------------------------------
Norman dug a hole and put in a post
for our tomatoes to hang on.. and
did a great job.. It's really nice!
Thanks Babe!
The ones in the topsy turvy's!
They have already grown to long for
where we had them planted.
THANKS GOD!
Oh, I emailed Leisa today, bless her
heart... now they are also fighting a virus!
Wow, as if she wasn't having trouble enough.
But still, she is going to babysit for her cousin
the next few days. She's such a kind hearted
and loving person. GOD BLESS!
Please still keep her in your prayers, that her
health issues will soon be taken care of!
=============
Also, pray for Frances and her health issue!
And also that it will quickly and safely be taken care of.
Pray too for Barbara's Mother, and my Mother
and their health issues. God bless both of them.
And continue to pray for Candi, (our niece) at the loss
of her baby boy Kolton Samuel last week.
GOD BLESS & COMFORT PLEASE!
Pray also for us that we will both find a job
for the summer (at least) Or, that the job
we've been praying about will be His Will
for our lives.. And for guidance for us both
in this matter. Thanks for your prayers!
