Well school is almost over with for this school year.

The kids are down to 1/2 day now!

They are SO WOUND UP NOW! ; }

THEY COULD USE A GOOD HUG.

We are down to 2 days.

Pray for us, I know without God's help

that we stand a very slim chance of getting

on full time even next year (and it will be my 3rd year)

But we know that with God's help, NOTHING IS

IMPOSSIBLE.. SO, pray that I'll get on full time

there or another, possibly even better job.

I just really want Sundays off and Wednesday

evenings off.. Lord's Willing : )

We could use a hug too!

I heard a cute little joke on my way to work this

morning.. It was about a Pope, and went like this.

A leader in one of the delicious fast food chains went

to the POPE. He ask him if he could possibly change

one word in the Lord's prayer. Where it says.. "Give us this day

our daily bread" to Give us this day our daily chicken, then

he added I will donate 5 million dollars to YOUR CHURCH.

Of course the Pope declined!

Then the man went back to him and said, If you will change

it to "give us this day our daily chicken" I will donate 10

million dollars to YOUR Church! The Pope again declined.

Two weeks later the man went back and said.. "Pope, sir,

If you would please just change that

one word, bread to chicken I will donate 20 millions

to YOUR CHURCH. The Pope agreed!

Then the Pope called a deacons meeting and said " I have got

good news, and bad news. The good news is we have just

been donated 20 MILLION dollars from a large Chicken Franchise.

The bad news is that Wonder'ful' Bread has just pulled their last

donation"

You know, honestly it would be funnier if it didn't

sound possible at all.. Now days a lot of people would

sell their own Mothers, let alone a word... even if it

is in HIS PRAYER : /

A Year Of Email!

I must send my thanks to whoever sent me the one about poison

in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet

towel with every envelope that needs sealing.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually

horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.

I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though

I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.

Thanks to you, I have learned that my prayers only

get answered if I forward an email to seven of my friends

and make a wish within five minutes.

Because of your concern, I no longer drink Coca-Cola

because it can remove toilet stains.

I no longer drink Pepsi or Dr. Pepper since the people

who make these products are atheists who

refuse to put "Under God" on their cans.

And thanks to your great advice, I can't ever pick up

$5.00 in the parking lot because it probably was

placed there by a molester waiting underneath

my car to grab my leg.

I can no longer drive my car because

I can't buy gas from certain gas companies!

Oh, by the way.....A South American scientist

from Argentina, after a lengthy study,

has discovered that people with insufficient brain

activity read their email with their hand on the mouse.

Don't bother taking it off now; it's too late.

Ah, the good news is that it's Wednesday evening.

And that means it's church night!

"can I have an amen?"

And for a second thing, it's "hump" day, for

this week! Amen to that too! things have

been CRAZY at work for weeks now!

Guess we all need the summer break from

that job! But at the same time, please pray

for Norman and I to both find jobs for the summer.

let me thank You for JESUS. And for YOUR

LOVE, GRACE, mercies, blessings. Thank You

for forgiving and saving even me. Thank You for

Norman (our love, lives, health, safety, closeness,

and marriage) Thank You for our precious family,

Our extended families, our church families, our

friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Bless each of us

please spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally,

financially, and with inner peace, happiness, and safety.

Bless our country please, and guide our leaders, in the

way YOU would have our country to go. Bless our

soldiers with Your protection, grace and comfort,

and their families with inner peace and grace. Thank

YOU for everything You have done for us all, in

Jesus precious name we pray, giving YOU our love,

thanks, honor, praise, and glory, amen.
