WE PLANTED SOME CUCUMBERS TODAY
No, they don't look like this! I wish they did! Actually you can't even see them (they were seeds). But, Lord's willing eventually we will have cucumbers! And we saved some seeds so we can plant them in a few weeks so we will have 'later' cucumbers. And our tomatoes and peppers, thankfully are looking Great, we put a little Epsom salt around them this evening.. THANK YOU GOD! Nothing better than good home grown veggies.
We are really looking forward to them!

Proverbs 10:5 (NIV) 5 He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son, but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son.

Oh my, the kids are more and more wound up each passing day. Now they are into "field days", "walks" and the "more fun things". I for one am glad to see it! Sure beats seeing them stressed out over those SOL test! Seems sometimes like that's the main reason to go to school anymore. I'm not saying that they shouldn't have them, but it's just that they are SUCH A BIG THING! When I was in school we took test too, and they were all important, but not THIS IMPORTANT! Geez already, let them be kids and have some fun learning! ... Anyway, they are down to 5 more days of school! I know a lot of them will be HAPPY to be out for the summer, some will be bored, and others sad to say will be lonely and perhaps even hungry. GOD BLESS!

We are down to 6 more days of work! I think we are all ready for a break, but at the same time, I surely could use the money to keep on working! When I ran my day care, the summer time was A LOT OF WORK, yet I did make the most money then, and tried to see that the kids enjoyed their time too.
Pray for Norman and I that maybe we could find the job we've been praying about! THANK YOU, I APPRECIATE YOU PRAYING WITH US!

Thought you would get a kick out of this:
Sticky Headaches!
At the end of my factory shift, I was asked to purchase some supplies. The machines' conveyor belts needed talcum powder to prevent them from sticking, and we had run out of aspirin for workers with noise-induced tension headaches.I drove to the nearest store and loaded a shopping cart with four cases of baby powder and several boxes of aspirin. As the man behind me in the checkout line peered at my purchases, he laughed and exclaimed,
"Must be one heck of a kid!" ; - )

Norman and I got busy this evening (after I got home from work) and changed our living room around. It was past due, it had been this one way for nearly 2 years already! Looks pretty good for a change, but when the heaters have to be turned back on (hopefully months from now) we will have to change them back. Oh well, we can enjoy it while we can. Right?
++++++++++++++++++++++++
Tomorrow Norman is planning on going fishing. Senior Citizens Fishing Day, he loves it! I hope it's a beautiful day for them! As much as he likes to talk to the older fellas, he just fits right in!
They will have some kind of little lunch available, and soda's.. Ha, guess they could have Geritol! "Oh no I didn't just think that" : ) Anyway, I hope it's a fun and safe day for everyone, and that the showers delay until it's all over with. GOD BLESS EACH OF THEM, PLEASE.

Continue praying for Leisa, and Frances, and Candi and her family, and for Barbara's Mother, and my Mother as well. Pray too for Barbara and I at work, for next year.
Bless each of them physically please, let them feel Your wonderful presence in their healing. Father please guide them, and their doctors to respond to all the things that need taken care of, and for it to be taken care of quickly, properly, and safely. Draw them all closer to You please and help them to all heal quickly and safely, and to be healthy, happy and closer to You. Thank You in Jesus name, amen.

SOMEBODY'S PRAYING
Somebody's prayin, I can feel it
Somebody's prayin' for me
Mighty hands are guiding me
To protect what I can't see
Lord I believe, Lord I believe
That somebody's prayin', for me.
Angels are watchin', I can feel it
Angels are watchin' over me
There's many miles ahead 'til I get home
Still I'm safely kept before your thrown
'Cause Lord I believe, Lord I believe
Your angels are watchin' over me.
Well, I've walked through barren wilderness
When my pillow was a stone
And I've been through the darkest caverns
Where no light had ever shown.
Still I went on 'cause there was someone
Who was down on their knees
And Lord. I thank you for those people
Prayin' all this time for me.
Somebody's prayin', I can feel it
Somebody's prayin' for me
Mighty hands are guiding me
To protect me from what I can't see
Lord I believe, Lord I believe
Somebody's prayin' for me...

Oh, what would we do without prayers for each other?
I do appreciate any and all prayers said on my behalf.
