FIELD DAY TODAY AT SCHOOL

Of course it was all MUCH BIGGER THAN THIS PICTURE!

(above is just a 'symbol' to semi represent some of the things they

had at school today) MANY more people, Much BIGGER blow ups..

Many parents and MANY children.

BUT THE KIDS WERE HAVING A BLAST!

One little boy passed the window to the dish room today

and was standing with his arms on the window ...

I ask, " Nuggets and Fries?"

and he looked at his Daddy and said with a big ole smile

"She doos that all the time" ; }

don't ya just love them? how precious!

"Summer is coming!" the soft breezes whisper;

"Summer is coming!" the glad birdies sing.

Summer is coming - I hear her quick footsteps;

Take your last look at the beautiful Spring.
"Summer is coming!" the schools are closing.
"Summer is coming!" and kids stay at home
Summer is coming, we want to go swimming.
Take us please parents, or grandparents we plead.

Sorrowful Spring leaves the beautiful woodlands,

I thought this was very fitting, soon perhaps some

of you parents might like to hire this sitter : )

but HONESTLY, enjoy them while they are young,

it all goes by so quickly ! I still dream of mine

being about 10, 8 and 6

(instead of 39, 37 and 35) or this year

will be 39, 38 and 36 since the oldest son's

birthday is in January

(he's already had his birthday for this year,

but he'll be 40) gee,

it just dawned on me..

my dreams are 30 years behind : /

BUT OH HOW I STILL LOVE EACH

AND EVERY ONE OF THEM! AND THEIR FAMILIES

Climbing The Walls!

With some misgivings, we left a young babysitter in charge

of our three energetic youngsters.When we returned

a few hours later, she was sitting

alone watching TV.I went to check on the children

and found them in our narrow hallway.

By bracing their arms and legs against the walls, two of

them had climbed up to the ceiling."The babysitter

taught us how," they said gleefully.The sitter joined me,

her face a deep red. "Since they

had me climbing the walls, I figured they might

as well be too," she stammered.

We kept the same girl for the next two years.

Well the kids at our schools have only 4 more days of school this

year! I am sure that many parents have MIXED EMOTIONS!

Especially for the families that both parents work! I know,

I've been there and (on the the other hand, I ran my

day care for 11 years) So I know the struggles many parents

went through with. GOD BLESS EACH OF THEM

PLEASE. AND BLESS THE CHILDREN WITH A

WONDERFUL SUMMER

AND MANY HAPPY MEMORIES AND SURPRISES!

We now have 5 more days to work! We all worked really hard

today. The one school fed about 500 instead of the 250 or so t

hat they normally feed, because of it being field day...

Please pray with me for us to find summer jobs

(or Lord's willing, the jobs we've been

praying about)

Norman went fishing today with the Seniors at the

Senior Citizens Fishing Day

up at Boys Home in Covington. He always has a good time,

but this year only caught one little trout.. He said

No One Caught Any Big Fish!.. maybe all the evening

showers has messed up the fishing. Oh well, at least it was a safe,

dry day for them also. And I am sure that it didn't damping

their conversations. He always loves going and seeing

people that he don't often see. And he rarely ever meets

a stranger! And if he does, unless they just won't talk, he'll find

something friendly to talk to them about. GOD BLESS!

Oh, but he did bring us TWO FOOT LONG.... ; )

hot dogs for lunch.. ha! You thought

I was going to say trout or something, didn't you? Actually

I do love my Whitey's Hot Dogs and their chili is delicious!!

Yum! Ever tried them? If not, you don't know what you are missing.

Anyway, I AM GLAD THAT HE GOT TO GO!

AND I AM THANKFUL FOR THE FOOT LONG

HOT DOG HE BROUGHT US BACK FROM THE

STORE FOR LUNCH rather than a raw fish ; /

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, Your Word, Your love,

grace, mercies, and blessings. Thank You for forgiving and saving even me..

Help me please to be loving and forgiving in return, and to live the life that

You have planned for me. Thank You for Norman,

(our love, closeness, health, happiness, safety and marriage. Thank

You for our precious family, our extended families, our church families,

our friends, neighbors and co-workers. Bless each of us please

spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and with inner

peace and safety. Father please bless Mom, Barbara's Mom, Leisa,

Jenna, Frances, Shirley, and all those on the prayer list..

be with them and let them 'feel' Your love and presence in

their healing and all their health issues cleared up.

Guide their doctors please and help them to

do exactly what is needed for their health. Thank You Holy Father!

Be with Joann and her family especially while her

husband is in the service. Also be with Candi at the loss of her little son.

Give little 'Kolton Samuel' a hug from all of us, please.

Be with our church and bless each

member there, help us all to live for You. Father, please send

us to a decent summer job (off for church),

show us were to look, if it be Your will, please and thank You. Father,

please bless our country and guide our leaders to lead the way

You would have them to. Bless our soldiers please with protection,

safety, and inner peace for them and their families.

Thank You Father for everything You do, in Jesus name we pray

giving You our love, thanks, honor, praise and glory, amen.
