SMILE, TODAY WAS THE KIDS

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR THIS

SCHOOL YEAR!

Smile, because your heart is happy.
Smile, because the children are happy.
What? You don't feel like smiling today?
Oh, c'mon...parents, and don't be frowning!
Your children are growing up, and spreading out.

It's just part of life,

be thankful for their health and happiness.
Well, think about me thinking about you!

We've been there before.

Whatever it takes to make you smile I'll do it, because

We still have to work tomorrow,

we are going in early in fact. At 7:00.

We did get some of the work 'started'

this afternoon after we finished our day

regular work. But we were all hot and ready

to go home. There is still a lot to do, but we'll

get it done, Lord's willing, tomorrow! And after

work, we have evaluations? GOD BLESS!

Pray for Darlene, she had a job interview

today at three o'clock! She seemed right

excited about it.

Nathan told me today as he was going

through the line "TODAY IS OUR LAST DAY

GRANDMA" I had to give him a big smile. I

would have given him a hug, but he was on

the other side of the line, and we were

BUSY! He is such a wonderful and loving grandson.

And I can tell him that he's "my favorite grandson,

because he's our only grandson". ; )

And Abigail was just excited telling me that

today is her friend Ricky's Birthday.

Her and Ricky have been friends since

kindergarten. She said a lot of the kids used

to pick on him, and so she told him "you

stay with me Ricky, I won't let them pick on you,

I'll take care of you"

And they have been good friends ever since.

Oh, and so there won't be any misunderstandings,

She's a wonderful granddaughter too,one of

four wonderful granddaughters! : )

He finished my building.. the back and one side!

Tomorrow he'll have to take Homer for his

hair cut, he needs another one, for sure.

He just burns up!

Speaking of going,

The other day I went to the local religious book

store, where I saw a HONK IF YOU LOVE JESUS

bumper sticker. I bought it and put it on the

back bumper of my car, and I'm really glad I did.

What an uplifting experience followed!
I was stopped at the light at a busy intersection,

just lost in thought about the Lord, and didn't

notice that the light had changed.
That bumper sticker really worked!

I found lots of people who love Jesus.
Why, the guy behind me started to honk like crazy.

He must REALLY love the Lord because pretty soon,

he leaned out his window and yelled, "Jesus Christ!"

as loud as he could.
A couple of the people were so caught up

in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars

the light had changed to yellow, and stepped on the gas.

And a good thing I did, because I was the only

driver to get across the intersection. Praise the

Lord for such wonderful folks.It was like a

football game with him shouting,

"GO JESUS CHRIST, GO!"
Everyone else started honking, too, so

I leaned out my window and waved and smiled

to all of those loving people.

Continue praying please for Leisa, and for Jenna,

and for my Mom, and Barbara's Mom too..

Pray also that the girls I work with will have their plans

to come through according to His will. And pray that He will

bless each of them and help us all to do well through the summer.

Continue praying for Candi and her family also at the loss

of her little son, Kolton. GOD BLESS AND COMFORT, PLEASE.

Well, I think I am going to get in here and fix us

some TACO'S for supper.. To Hot to cook much, and

we both like taco's, so they will work fine.

Later we will have a COLD piece of watermelon!

Then when it cools off, we will go out and water all

of our tomato plants (and other plants too)

THANKS GOD FOR SUCH NICE PLANTS THIS YEAR.

We've already gotten one pepper! YUM..

And the cucumbers are really starting to come up!

SO THANK YOU GOD, WE APPRECIATE OUR

LITTLE RAISED BED GARDENS!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, and for His

sacrifice. Thank You for Your perfect love, grace, mercies,

blessings, and for You plans for our lives. Thank You too

for Your Word. Help us to really read, understand, and be in it!

Thank You for the freedom to worship and praise You so openly.

Thank You for my husband, our love, lives, health, closeness,

happiness, and marriage. Thank You too for our family, and the

love and closeness we share. Thank You for our extended

families, our church families, our friends, neighbors, and

co-workers. Bless each of us spiritually,physically, emotionally,

mentally, financially (many of us needs financial help these days)

and for inner peace, safety, and happiness.

Father, I pray that if it be Your Will that we both find

good summer jobs, or the job we've been really

praying about, and thanks. Also, bless my co-workers

with the things You have in store for them.

Bless our country, guide our leaders, we know Lord

that no matter what, YOU are in control, and we give

You our thanks. Bless the soldiers and their families please

with safety and inner peace and grace. Thank You Lord for

everything You do, in Jesus name we pray giving You our

love, thanks, praise, honor, and glory, amen.
