EVER JUST "NEED" A GOOD WARM CINNAMON ROLL?

I found myself this evening, just "NEEDING" A

GOOD WARM CINNAMON ROLL!

(mind you I didn't say anything about calories, but we

surly did eat the rolls : ) Sometimes you have just

gotta do what you've gotta do! : ) Right?

speaking of "LOW CALORIES"

Low Cal Cookies !A husband took his young daughter

to the grocery store to help him buy groceries.

In addition to the healthy items on his wife's

carefully prepared list, the two of them returned

home with a package of sugar-filled cookies

."Why in the world did you buy those?" his wife asked.

"You know they aren't good for you!"

"Oh, but don't worry, honey, these cookies have

one-third less calories than usual in them,"

the husband replied.The wife looked all over the

package but couldn't find any claim to that fact, so she asked,

"What makes you think that?"

"We ate about a third of the box on the way home."

YOU KNOW SOMETIMES, YOU'VE JUST GOT TO : )

WELL, THANKFULLY FOR MOM, THAT BIOPSY

IS OVER WITH. THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE THREE

DAYS TO HAVE THE ANSWERS THEY NEED.

THE BEST PART IS THAT THEY PUT HER TO SLEEP

BEFORE THEY DID THE BIOPSY. (AND JUST TO CLEAR

IT UP, SHE HAD TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE TAKING

THE BIOPSY FROM HER FEMUR, THEY ACTUALLY

TOOK IT FROM HER STERNUM) MAKES MORE SENSE,

SINCE THAT IS THE WORST PART OF IT.

JENNA (BLESS HER LOVING HEART) WAS WITH HER..

MOM ALWAYS WANTS HER THERE "BECAUSE SHE

UNDERSTANDS ALL THE MEDICAL TERMS" ANYWAY..

AFTER SHE WORKED ALL NIGHT, SHE WENT.. BUT SHE

SAID WHEN SHE CALLED THAT AFTER THE BIOPSY WAS

OVER (remember Mom was out)... WHEN SHE CAME TO

MOM SAID, "WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO DO THIS?"

MY THOUGHTS, "THANKS GOD"

(at least she wasn't in pain) AND I AM

PRAYING THAT SHE WILL BE AS COMFORTABLE

AS POSSIBLE, NO MATTER WHAT HIS WILL IS FOR HER.

We stopped by to see Lily, Kayla and Anna today.

They are such a loving part of our family.

We really need to decide where and meet for a

picnic lunch (and maybe the girls can swim)

before I go back to work.

I love them all sooo much ; )

Then we stopped by to check on Leisa and the kids.

She's doing a lot better, but still fighting pain and some

swelling.. I (think) she goes back to the doctor soon.

Then a little later, Norman, Leisa and Nathan brought

Abigail up to spend the evening and night.

THEY ARE ALL ALWAYS WELCOME, FOR SURE.

I haven't heard from Barbara yet today to see

how her biopsy went. But one thing is that I have

had her on my mind, and in my prayers...

Pray for Norman's mother so that she'll soon

get over that bad cough she has. She seems

to really be healing well from her surgery thankfully.

We all need prayers, don't we?

And I have been canning some tomatoes,

and I still have some cucumbers to can yet.

We like the "refrigerator pickles" and they

kept sooo good last year. Delicious, and crunchy!

And, if I have any extra tomatoes, I will can him

some more tomato juice.

THANK FOR THE TOMATOES!

And I have to get back in there and finish my

cannier out! It holds 9 pints each time.

We are grateful for all of them.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus and His

sacrifice. Thank You for Your love, Word, grace,

mercies, blessings and forgiveness.

Thank You for taking care of Mom, and Barbara

today, and granting them a safe trip over and back.

Thank You for Norman, our lives, health, safety,

love, closeness and marriage. Thank You too for our

precious family, our extended families, our church

families, our friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

Bless each of us please spiritually, physically, emotionally,

mentally, financially (so many need help now) and

with inner peace, happiness and safety.

Bless our country please and guide our leaders to do

right by our country. Draw us all closer to You please.

Father, protect our soldiers please and grant them and

their families inner peace and safety. We give You our

love, praise, thanks, honor and glory all in Jesus

Wonderful name, amen.
