SOMEBODY HAS A BIRTHDAY TOMORROW, and it's being crowed about

TOMORROW IS ABIGAIL STARR'S BIRTHDAY.. IF YOU SEE HER, PLEASE WISH HER A WONDERFUL DAY!

(Homerjoe, turns into a puppy whenever she or Nathan are around, and sooo sad in the afternoons if they don't come home with me) He's spoiled rotten, but we all love him!

SO, TODAY I LET HER ORDER JOE.. (THE LITTLE FELLA BELOW) A NEW WIG.. HE'S PROBABLY MY AGE! BUT STILL HE WAS GIVEN TO HER BY MOM AND THAT REALLY MAKES HIM SPECIAL TO HER.. ROSIE (his pretend sister) IS ALSO AN OLD DOLL.. IT SAYS ON HER NECK 1984, BUT SHE IS ONE THAT HER GRANDDAD AND I BOUGHT FOR HER.. (in her origional clothes, booties, bib and the works) AND WHEN SHE IS HERE, SHE USUALLY PLAYS WITH AT LEAST ONE OF THEM, IF NOT BOTH OF THEM. WE HAD BOUGHT JOE AND ROSIE BOTH WIGS, (her hair was a mess, and his was painted on) BUT NOW SHE WANTS TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF JOE'S HAIR BECAUSE IT REMINDS HER SO MUCH OF SOMEONE.. AND SHE WOULD JUST RATHER LOOK AT HIM AND THINK "JOE"

SO, I LET HER ORDER HIM ANOTHER WIG.. (she's spoiled rotten too!) LOL

BIG "DUKE"

OUR WHITE CHICKEN, SOLD TO US AS A HEN, TURNED OUT TO BE A ROOSTER ... HE HAD NOT BEEN NAMED YET (because we thought HE was a SHE to begin with, lol) ANYWAY WITHIN MAYBE THE LAST TWO WEEKS, HE IS REALLY LOOKING LIKE A MALE! TODAY HE CROWED! NOT BAD FOR THE FIRST FOUR OR SO TIMES : ) SO HE'S A LEADER.. (ABIGAIL AND I LOOKED UP "LEADER NAMES" AND CAME UP WITH "DUKE" AND HE'S THE BIGGEST ONE OUT THERE, MUCH BIGGER THAN THE OTHER THREE ROOSTERS (OR THE ONES SOLD TO US AS ROOSTERS) SO I THINK DUKE IS VERY FITTING! WAY TO GO DUKE!

Mercy day, they called Norman all the way back down to work after he had already put in 9 hours today! So, it's hard to tell when he'll make it home again. I'm glad we had a quick supper before he left. Abigail is here again tonight and wanted sloppy joes, I added cole slaw, tomatoes, ice water, and chips. Yes, ice water.. we are trying to severely cut back on the sodas, eventhough we only have drank diet sodas for years now. Its good to be drinking more water (*.*)
