The obstacle in our path
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and
watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road.
After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. 
The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.

The peasant learned what many of us never understand! Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.
THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS ... WE NEVER KNOW WHAT OBSTACLES WILL BE RIGHT IN OUR PATH.. PRESENTING THEMSELVES USUALLY AS "HARD TIMES"... DON'T GIVE UP!SOMETIMES I THINK THEY ARE JUST TO GET US TO CHANGE OUR DIRECTION.. OTHER TIMES TO WORK THROUGH, AND EVEN TO REAP SOME REWARD ONCE IT'S BEHIND US, EVEN IF THAT REWARD IS JUST TO LEARN AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE.. OR EVEN TO BE ABLE TO HELP SOMEONE ELSE GET THROUGH A SIMILAR PROBLEM.. REMEMBER, GOD IS GOOD, AND HE LOVES WHEN WE CALL UPON HIM, TRUST IN HIM, PUT OUR TOTAL FAITH IN HIM AND THEN WHEN WE GIVE HIM OUR THANKS, HONOR AND PRAISE..-------------------------------------------------------------

I AM OFF THIS WEEK.. TODAY I WORKED GATHERING, CLEANING, AND GETTING READY THE THINGS WE WILL TAKE CAMPING WITH US ON FRIDAY. BOY WHEN YOU GO TENT CAMPING, YOU HAVE TO TAKE EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK. WE WERE TALKING, AS MUCH AS WE LIKE OUT TENT, IT'S REALLY NICE, AND APPRECIATE IT.. IT WOULD BE MUCH EASIER FOR US TO HAVE ANOTHER POP UP CAMPER.. "MAYBE NEXT YEAR, LORD'S WILLING!" BUT FOR THIS YEAR, WE WILL HAPPILY GO TENT CAMPING.. THIS WEEKEND COMING UP, AND ALSO A WEEKEND AROUND THE MIDDLE OF AUGUST.. "LORD'S WILLING" (and no, if HE'S willing, it don't matter at all what the creeks are doing) LOL, you know how most people will say, Lord's willing and the creek don't rise.. Well, if He is willing, the creek won't be a problem (*.*) RIGHT?

PRAYING FOR ALL OF OUR SOLDIERS AND THEIR SAFE AND QUICK RETURN HOME AND THEIR PEACE OF MINDS AND SOULS AND THAT OF THEIR FAMILIES..
