Happy 16th Birthday Anna, we all love you...

 We celebrated our granddaughter Anna's 16th birthday today at our house. Nothing fancy, just family and lunch.. lots of laughter and conversation. Seems like everyone had a good time.. and did I mention (lots of food?) I mean LOTS.. (we had 24 pc of chicken left! plus all kinds of sides, yeast rolls and desserts) But... we like to make double sure to have enough! Thanks everyone for coming.. We missed Jeff and Jenna.. sorry you two didn't make it.. (maybe next time) Anyway..... Happy birthday Anna on October 29th.. We love you sooo much!!! 

This is Anna's story about the old house.. (she wrote it two years ago) Short but cute! Thanks Sweetie!

There is an old house on that mountain. I passed it only once, but I can still remember it clearly. It was small and built of boards, and it looked as though some giant had pushed it over. I've often wonder what tales it would tell, if it could talk. But it can not, and one can only imagine who lived there. Perhaps a man brought his wife there, or perhaps only a single man or woman lived in that house. Alas, no one will know what stories are in there. And perhaps that is how it should be. --------------------------------------------------------

THE MIRACLE HOUSE
One beautiful day an old couple were living happily in a lovely old farm house. They had lived in the house since the year 1960, and the following year they had a handsome baby boy named Samuel. Years later the old man died of an unknown illness, then one day a horrible twister hit the town. It destroyed  most homes except for this one, which  was just slightly leaned over. Nothing was damaged in the home, and the woman and her son wasn't harmed. It was said all over town that the old man was watching over his wife and son. From that day on the house was called "The Miracle House."

Praying for each and every one of you and yours.. Praying for you spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially, and for inner peace and happiness... Praying for those that has just lost loved ones, that God will grant inner peace and comfort to each of them and help them through this really hard time. Praying also for all those that are sick, that you will soon be well. Praying for those of you that have unspoken prayers.. He knows each and every one of them and will answer them in His time. Praying for decent 40 hr a week jobs for each and everyone that is looking for a job or a better job.. Praying for one very special 20 year old looking for her first job.. that she will find a easy going person with love to work for.. knowing she will do her work and do the best of her ability at everything ask of her. Giving Him the thanks, honor, praise and glory in all things in Jesus holy name, amen.
