well, you just had to be there to enjoy the humor!!! enjoy

I thought that just maybe you would enjoy the funny thing that happened to my loving Sister and me today... Hope so anyway. After I got home from work, we went to buy some flowers for the cemetery. We always have 5 graves that we place flowers on.. Our parents, Norman's Dad, our sister Wanda, our grandparents, and our grandma, Dad's Mom.. So because of waiting last year at Christmas time almost to late.. (flowers were everywhere, beautiful flowers, so we thought it was safe to wait awhile, but when we
went, everyone must have enjoyed their beauty, and we could hardly find anything we liked) Anyway, because of that we decided to go the very first part of September and buy for the cemeteries and go ahead and place them on the graves. Well, we did buy some, and had a car load to share between the five graves.. But when we got almost there at the cemetery.. big raindrops started to fall.. and pretty quickly. We decided not to get out in that rain to put the flowers on, so we left towards home.. THE RAIN STOPPED.. So, we turned around and went
back to the cemetery.. It poured down the rain.. but it seemed to be only at the cemetery... Well at this point, we were beginning to really see the humor in it.. Thinking "Mom and Dad were having a blast, making us go in circles, knowing we would still do what ever they ask of us".. Anyway we rode past the cemetery again and it kept raining.. so we got on the interstate headed home, NOT ANOTHER DROP OF RAIN, and then as we got just a short distance from the cemetery, you couldn't even tell it had even sprinkled, let alone rained ! Then the humor side of it really hit us.. "Ok, Mom and Dad, we will come back tomorrow and adorn your graves, since for some reason you didn't want them today" We love and miss all of them so much, and just feel that it shows love and respect to keep pretty flowers on their graves. "BIG HEAVENLY HUGS TO ALL OF YOU!, WE'LL SEE YOU ALL AGAIN, SOME FINE DAY.. And try again tomorrow with the flowers!"

and NO, the pictures aren't of the flowers we bought.. but just using them to half way show our intentions..

SPEAKING OF A CEMETERY.. I read this cute little story the other day on fb, and thought you might enjoy it IF you hadn't seen it yet..
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big, old pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence. One day, two boys filled up a bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight, and began dividing the nuts. "One for you, one for me, one for you, one for me," said one boy. Several dropped and rolled down toward the fence.

Another boy came riding along the road on his bicycle. As he passed, he thought he heard voices from inside the cemetery. He slowed down to investigate. Sure enough, he heard, "One for you, one for me, one for you, one for me ...."
He just knew what it was. He jumped back on his bike and rode off. Just around the bend he met an old man with a cane, hobbling along.
"Come here quick," said the boy, "you won't believe what I heard! Satan and the Lord are down at the cemetery dividing up the souls!"
The man said, "Beat it kid, can't you see it's hard for me to walk." When the boy insisted though, the man hobbled slowly to the cemetery.
Standing by the fence they heard, "One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me."
The old man whispered, "Boy, you've been tellin' me the truth. Let's see if we can see the Lord...?" Shaking with fear, they peered through the fence, yet were still unable to see anything. The old man and the boy gripped the wrought iron bars of the fence tighter and tighter as they tried to get a glimpse of the Lord.
At last they heard, "One for you, one for me. That's all. Now let's go get those nuts by the fence and we'll be done...."
They say the old man had the lead for a good half-mile before the kid on the bike passed him.  BY:  "ROY E PAUL"
