TEACHING OR PRAYING???

Teaching Or Praying?
A Sunday school teacher dies and is waiting in line at the Pearly Gates. Ahead of him is a guy who's dressed in sunglasses, a loud shirt, leather jacket and jeans.Saint Peter says to the guy, "Who are you, so that I may know whether or not to admit you to the Kingdom of Heaven?"The guy replies, "I`m Joe Cohen, taxi-driver, of New York City."Saint Peter consults his list. He smiles and says to the taxi- driver, "Take this silken robe and golden staff and enter the Kingdom of Heaven."
The taxi-driver goes into Heaven with his robe and staff, and it`s the Sunday school teachers turn. He stands erect and booms out, "I am Joseph Snow, teacher at Saint Mary`s for the last forty-three years."Saint Peter consults his list. He says to the teacher, "Take this cotton robe and wooden staff and enter the Kingdom of Heaven.""Just a minute," says the teacher. "That man was a taxi-driver, and he gets a silken robe and golden staff. I get a simple cotton robe and wooden staff. How can this be?" "Up here, we work by results," says Saint Peter. "While you tried to teach , people slept; but while this guy drove, people prayed."

For lack of knowing what else to say,
My poor Mother is just "worn out!"
So tiny and frail now, literally skin and bones..
She is still holding on to life for some special reason I guess,
but she surely has done more than her share of suffering!
Everything continues to get worse, I just can't figure out how she
keeps hanging on day after day! With Gods help I suppose.
She is just to weak to speak, or move anymore, and her breathing
is slow and labored (at times) and with a rattle in it!
"God, please bless and comfort her and give her grace,
ease her pain and suffering, and give her inner peace.
And when her time comes, please welcome her home with open
arms and tell her how much we love her.. she will sorely be missed.
Above all, Thy will be done"
