WELL, HERE IS THE FIRST OF THE STORIES.. THIS IS ABOUT THE PICTURE OF THE PUMPKIN PATCH.. I HOPE YOU ARE MAYBE A LITTLE SURPRISED BY WHAT YOU READ.. THIS ONE IS MINE.. GUESS I'LL START THIS TIME.. KAYLA IS GOING TO BE SENDING ONE TOO AND ABIGAIL SAYS SHE WANTS TO WRITE ONE.. ANNA SAYS SHE MAY NOT WANT TO WRITE ONE THIS TIME, AND THAT'S PERFECTLY FINE... COME WALK WITH US...
We live sort of back in the woods in an older, but very decent mobile home.. the inside looks better than the outside.. but that's okay too.. We are happy with "where we are planted" (*.*).. We share our home with our precious animals.. Homerjoe (our dog) and Missy (our cat) and Snookie (was Mom's cat, now ours to care for, and we surely do), also we have two Betta's one named Red Fred and the other named Henry.. Outside, we have some goldfish in the pond, chickens, 5 awesome pigeons, and 2 precious little guinea foul. We are blessed! One early, foggy, fall morning we decided to go for a walk along our property and the adjoining field that belongs to a neighbor, the dog and cats follow along as we walk. COME WALK WITH US, YOU'LL BE SURPRISED AT WHAT YOU MAY SEE..
We walked down the steep hill behind our house. Down through all the trees and we carefully walked so we wouldn't end up falling to the bottom of this very steep, slippery pathway covered with dew.
Once we reached the bottom of the hill there is a huge field, then the creek and more fields on the other side of the creek. To our amazement someone had planted a portion of the field in pumpkins.. A giant pumpkin patch if you please. WE don't know who planted them, but it didn't matter.. they are not on our property anyway and won't be bothered by us, only enjoyed by the very sight of them. They were an awesome site to see, and such a surprise. Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, any shade of orange you could think of. There stretched from where we 
were out into the fog that followed the creek. Near the edge where the little pond is, was some wild bunnies, probably born in the late spring. They were hopping to and fro, not really knowing which way to go. If only they knew that we wouldn't hurt them, we are just here to enjoy. We watched as finally their mother gave a THUMP warning and they ran to their little home she had prepared for them.
Right in the middle of the pumpkin patch there was three trees. each showing a different color of autumn, all were very beautiful. But I have to say that the brilliant orange and bright reds of the maple trees are my very favorites. I also love the bright yellows of some of the trees up against the mountains.. all are a true work of His art and creations!
When we looked to the left there was a doe and her two yearlings at her side. We mention how much darker she is than the two of her young, which is absolutely normal. They are all over grazing on the high grass that had grown after the last cutting of hay this year. They were so peaceful and content, the mother glanced up at us a couple of times, but seemed to sense no danger.. no harm would come their way. Even the fog lifting from the creek seemed extra pretty that beautiful, early Saturday morning. A true gift of creation we had shared on this early walk.
