GOD'S AUTUMN TREES...
THIS IS A COMBINATION OF WORDS.. PART WILL BE BY JOYCE KILMER, FROM HER WONDERFUL POEM CALLED "TREES" (I learned it in grade school, and still remember it) .... the rest was humbly written by me.. I will mark her words with JK at the end .. ENJOY!

God's protection for His trees
We all know begins with leaves.
A TREE WHOSE HUNGRY MOUTH IS PREST
AGAINST THE SWEET EARTHS FLOWING BREAST (jk)
Leaves that unfold in spring
To nest the birds and help them sing
A TREE THAT LOOKS AT GOD ALL DAY
AND LIFTS IT'S LEAFY ARMS TO PRAY (jk)
A tree that in the summer makes
Protection from the sun with shade
A TREE THAT MAY IN SUMMER WEAR
A NEST OF ROBINS IN HER HAIR (jk)
A tree that will in days of fall
Shed it's leaves to protect it's life and all
Leaves that in the autumn die
Share His bright colors in the blue sky.
A tree that lives with rain and slow
And plants it's roots real deep to grow.
UPON WHOSE BOSOM SNOW HAS LAIN:
WHO INTIMATELY LIVES WITH RAIN. (jk)
A tree who looses all it's leaves
Yet raises limbs to God in praise it sings.

TOMORROW IS THE FIRST DAY OF AUTUMN.. I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I WAS THINKING IT WAS ON THE 21 (which would have been today) I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS USUALLY ON THE 21 BUT "MAYBE, IT WAS BECAUSE THIS YEAR IS LEAP YEAR?" ... OH WELL.. THE TREES ARE SURELY BEGINNING TO REALLY TURN.. AUTUMN "FALL" IS COMING.. SO LET'S JUST ENJOY THE BEAUTY GOD HAS IN STORE FOR US TO SEE.

TWO OF OUR PRECIOUS GRANDCHILDREN JUST CAME IN.. THEY ARE SPENDING THE EVENING AND NIGHT WITH US (PERHAPS THE WEEKEND) AND THEY AND THE OTHERS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME! SO, IF I AM NOT BACK ON HERE TOMORROW.. I JUST WANTED TO SHARE THE ABOVE THOUGHTS WITH YOU AND HOPE YOU GOT SOME JOY FROM IT.. MY MIND WAS "WORKING OVERTIME" ON MY WAY HOME TODAY, JUST SEEING ALL THE BEAUTIFUL COLORS THAT GOD CREATES FOR US TO ENJOY.. PRAYING TO FOR JAKE AND FRANCES (hope things are going better and those treatments have worked and it's over with)... PRAYING FOR MRS TERRY (Norman's mother) she celebrates her 86th year of life)... PRAYING ALWAYS FOR LITTLE EVAN, AND ALL THE CHILDREN WITH EB OR ANY OTHER DREADFUL DISEASES, AND THEIR FAMILIES... PRAYING FOR EVERYONE WITH CANCER AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS.. SPECIAL PRAYER TONIGHT FOR DICKIE.. BARBARA'S HUSBAND, AND HIS CO-WORKERS.. THAT THEIR JOB WILL CONTINUE.. THINGS WILL WORK OUT AND IT WILL BE BETTER THAN THEY HOPE FOR.. PRAYING FOR OUR COUNTRY THAT GOD WILL BLESS AND GUIDE OUR LEADERS TO DO WHAT HE KNOWS IS BEST AND RIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY.. PRAYING FOR OUR SOLDIERS, THAT THEY WILL ALL SOON BE BACK HOME SAFELY WITH JOBS TO COME HOME TO AND FOR COMFORT AND INNER PEACE FOR THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES... PRAYING FOR NORMAN, THAT HE WILL SOON GET FEELING BETTER AND THINGS WILL WORK OUT FOR HIM EVEN BETTER THAN HE'S HOPING FOR.. PRAYING FOR ALL THE "UNSPOKEN PRAYERS" FOR EACH OF YOU AND ASKING THAT YOU'LL PRAY FOR OURS TOO.. SPECIAL PRAYERS FOR EACH OF MY CO-WORKERS AS WE START ANOTHER SCHOOL YEAR , HELP US LORD TO ALL BE CLOSE, CARING AND HELPFUL TO EACH OTHER..
