~Veteran's Day Prayer~

A prayer solemn
We offer today;
It is for Veterans
We now pray.

Selfless, sacrificial,
Risking death gallantly
Soldiers do all this
To ensure we are free.

So many have died
There on the battleground;
No music then to comfort,
Simply gun blasts all around.
So many names and faces That I will never know;
So many stories of bravery In warring winds did blow.

Grateful am I to these Men and Women brave -
To think of all they did, All they risked, all they gave.

Extend this heartfelt prayer I will, to reach their ears;
How treasured they are to me, Marching onward despite fears.

And for those who have passed, May God bless them lavishly
These very ones who died So that we would live free.

In the stories of Veterans We see a shadow of the Cross
Christ died to set us free, Our gain was through His loss.

Gratefully we praise these heroes, Often silent and unknown.
And we remember Christ’s blood From which eternal life has grown.

Honor & Remember Veterans

One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that You, O God, are strong, and that You, O Lord, are loving. Surely You will reward each person according to what he has done. Psalm 62:11,12

Take some time to today to thank, honor and remember the people who are serving or who have served this country, they are are truly a blessing. They give up so much more than we can even imagine.. God please bless and protect each of them and return them safely home to their families!

TODAY, I FIXED FOR OUR VETS (THE TWO THAT WERE HERE) FRIED CHICKENS STRIPS, CHEESY, POTATO SKINS WITH BACON, PASTA SALAD (WITH SOME EXTRAS) AND A SPICE CAKE WITH A CHOCOLATE GLAZE.. I ADDED A COUPLE OF GLASS LITTLE BOYS WITH THEIR FLAGS (as a reminder) AND ONE WITH HIS FLAG AND DOG ON THE TABLE.. THANKS CHRIS, JEFF, NORMAN AND NORMAN JR FOR GIVING OF YOURSELVES FOR OUR COUNTRY, thank GOD for keeping and returning you safely home! GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU!! (one was on the cake, and the other on the center of the dish with the chicken stips around it and then a container of bar-b-que and a container of home made ranch dip on the same large platter)

PRAYING FOR CHRIS, AT HIS NEW JOB AND THAT HE WILL LIKE IT AND THEY REALLY LIKE HIM AND IT BECOME A LONG TERM 'LOCAL' JOB, AND FOR HIS TOTAL SAFETY..
