I'm a little snowman round and fat,

Here are my mittens,

Here is my hat.

Add a little scarf and a carrot nose.

You stand so tall when the cold wind blows.

SOUNDS LIKE ME, DON'T IT? LOL
================================== Who didn't feel the need to be a snowman today.. with all this snow and icy rain??? Brrrrr!!!! THESE TWO PICTURES BELOW WERE TAKEN ON RT. 18 THIS LATE MORNING.. .. LOOKS COLD, BECAUSE IT WAS COLD.. SNOW, ICE, RAIN MIX AND WINDY TOO

 The New Footprints "IN THE SNOW"

Now imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking together in the snow. For much of the way the Lord's footprints go along steadily, consistently, rarely varying in the pace. But your prints are in a disorganized stream of zig zags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns. For much of the way it seems to go like this. But gradually, your footprints come in line with the Lord's, soon paralleling His consistently. You and Jesus are walking as true friends. This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens; your footprints that once etched the snow next to the Master's are now walking precisely in His steps. Inside His large footprints is the smaller "snow print," safely enclosed. You and Jesus are becoming one; this goes on for many miles. But gradually you notice another change. The footprints inside the larger footprints seem to grow larger. Eventually it disappears altogether. There is only one set of footprints. They have become one; again this goes on for a long time. But then something awful happens. The second set of footprints is back. This time it seems even worse than before. Zig zags all over the place. Stop...start. Deep gashes in the snow. A veritable mess of prints. You're amazed and shocked. But this is the end of your dream. Now you speak: "Lord, I understand the first scene with the zig zags, fits, starts, and so on. I was a new Christian, just learning. But You walked on through the storm and helped me learn to walk with You." "That is correct," replied the Lord.
"Then, when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps. I followed You very closely." "Very good. You have understood everything so far." "Then the smaller footprints grew and eventually filled in with Yours. I suppose that I was actually growing so much that I was becoming more like You in every way." "Precisely." "But this is my question, Lord. Was there a regression of something? The footprints went back to two, and this time it was worse than the first." The Lord smiles, then laughs. "You didn't know?" He says, "That was when we danced."  snow dancing with Jesus

YOU KNOW DAD.. IT'S ONE THING THAT IT SNOWED.. AND YES, IT'S GREAT AND I LOVE SNOW.. BUT MY QUESTION IS WHY DIDN'T IT WAIT UNTIL WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GO TO SCHOOL INSTEAD OF SNOWING WHILE WE WERE OFF?

My Snowman

Three big snowballs,

Piled way up high,

A carrot nose,

A mouth, and two eyes.

A wooly scarf to keep him warm,

A hat for his head,

The snowman came to life,

"It's winter!" he said.

That hungry little rabbit

Looking for some lunch

Ate the snowman's carrot nose

Nibble, nibble, CRUNCH!

We had some running that had to be done today (like it or not) I must say though that we made the best of our trip into town. We got groceries enough that we won't have to go out for anything for days now, thankfully! The day started off so weird.. I looked out out bedroom window and said (in joking) "the carport is completely white" (and it really is) But, boy oh boy was it covered with white.. snow and ice! Heavy too.. uggg! But my Sister made it home fine today thankfully and that was a prayer answered!!! Thanks God!!! And we and many others were out and about today and made it home safely too... Again, thanks God.. We deeply appreciate all You do for us.. And thanks to each of you for your prayers.. please know that you are in our daily prayers also!!

Speaking of prayers.. Dear God, I am praying for each and everyone of my friends, family and facebook family.. Please Lord, be with, wrap Your loving arms around and deeply bless each of these and their families, with Your perfect and unconditional love, grace, mercies, peace, and spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, financial blessings along with love and respect for and of each other, happiness, and sweet inner peace.  Help us to live the lives You would have us to live and be all that You have planned for each of us to be!
