HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS, WE LOVE YOU

Luke 2:7 (KJV) And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger;  because there was no room for them in the inn.

For unto us a Child is born unto us a Son is given... and His name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor,
The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
WE LOVE YOU JESUS! OUR KING, OUR SAVIOUR..

A Nativity Hymn

I sing the birth was born to-night
The author both of life and light;
The angels so did sound it.
And like the ravished shepherds said,
Who saw the light, and were afraid,
Yet searched, and true they found it.
The Son of God, th' eternal king,
That did us all salvation bring,
And freed the soul from danger;
He whom the whole world could not take,
The Word, which heaven and earth did make, Was now laid in a manger.
The Father's wisdom willed it so,
The Son's obedience knew no No,
Both wills were in one stature;
And as that wisdom had decreed.
The Word was now made flesh indeed.
And took on him our nature.
What comfort by him do we win. Who made himself the price of sin. To make us heirs of glory! To see this babe all innocence; A martyr born in our defense: Can man forget the story?

You know dear friends - life is sometimes strange, forming a friendship bond, that will never ever change. Remembering all the wonderful things - this past year we have shared, praying for each other, as we did this past year. Sharing all our feelings - both bad and good, knowing that we were there, for each other as best we could. Never did I doubt - that you were our special friends, someone so very trusting, and someone I could confide in. Someone who seemed - to always take the time, to show me your concern, and especially, how to be so kind. Now the spirit of the Christmas - is growing more and more each day, and the bond we made as friends, is certainly here to stay. I wish you Christ,His mercies and His love - for this Christmas time to come, knowing that in my heart, all the good for me you have done. My thoughts continue to allow me - for this much I do know, I thank God for each blessing, as our friendship continues to grow. Written & Submitted By: The NetHugs Family

Today was a special day at our house, but first, let me ask for a special TWO prayer request.. #1st SET!..  pray for Jenna's safety coming home from Abbington.. she went down to see her grandchildren this morning because both of their parents have the flu!.. Pray for their parents, (the Mommy is expecting..) and for the children that they don't get sick..  Norman, Leisa, Nathan, Abigail and Jeff all came here today for lunch.. and packages.. I was given a candle that Norman made, but ?? ugg, I can't remember what kind it was Apple??? "SMELLS DELICIOUS!" .. thanks.. For lunch we had a turkey, dressing, gravy (with turkey in it.. Abigail's favorite) mac salad.. a veggie tray with dip, rolls, home made cole slaw..  And for dessert.. home made fudge.. some with black walnuts, some without.. and a cute (I thought) dish.. A friend of mine gave me the cutest snowman.. it lights up and changes colors and the glitter revolves and swirls around.. So, I took it, put it in the middle of a large platter.. took my ice cream scoop and scooped vanilla ice cream into balls.. and we had "snowballs".. the kids really liked it and it was cool and fresh and something different! Thanks Barbara for the AWESOME SNOWMAN! Oh,And the second prayer is a unspoken health request for myself... something I will HAVE to check into..
May the forgiving spirit of Him to whom we dedicate this season  prevail again on earth. May hunger disappear and terrorists cease their senseless acts. May people live in freedom, worshiping as they see fit, loving others. May the sanctity of the home,and family be ever preserved. May peace, everlasting peace,reign supreme. Author Unknown
