SOME OF THE MANY PATHS WE TAKE... AND A ROCK IN THE ROAD... pretty pictures too

I always am intrigued by PATHS, especially those like this picture, that you have no idea where it leads, or where you will end up..

In so many ways, it's like LIFE, and the differences in our paths, by the way we live and the choices we make..

Some are seemly easier than others, but may be more stressful, or with less true happiness. (Or not?)

And some seem so simple, (sometimes perhaps less appealing, more simple with less?) Yet possibly could be the happiest way to live, and less stressful (or not?) So, I guess what I am saying, It seems that life (and the good and bad of it,) is just what we make of it... But I know that your believes can truly help make a wonderful difference, in choices, in habits, and in the things we do... So, even though (thankfully) He is in control! He allows us freedom of choice, but is with us every step of the way, if we only ask!

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,”

declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you,

plans to give you hope and a future."

Jesus looked upon me and came to me with healing in His wings—
He saw an empty cup and filled it;
He saw an unclean vessel and cleansed it;
He saw a restless soul and brought it peace;
 He saw a lost sheep and brought it home;
 He saw a vain life and gave it meaning;
 He saw a selfish heart and baptized it in a river of Holy Love.

Suppose a man has 100 sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the 99 sheep grazing in the pasture and look for the lost sheep until he finds it? When he finds it, he’s happy. He puts that sheep on his shoulders and goes home. Luke 15:4-5 GW
For God wanted them to know that the riches
and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too.
 And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing His glory. Colossians 1:27 NLT

One of the glorious things about the Christian life is that God not only places you in Christ, but Christ also comes to live in you.

Being in Christ means that you receive the benefits of all that He has done for you through His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension;
Christ being in you means that you receive the benefits of His presence, His character, and His nature within you.
The obstacle in our path
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.
Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried
to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway.
The peasant learned what many of us never understand! Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.
