'K' and 'A' Two of our precious granddaughters
a little younger version! BUT, AREN'T THEY BEAUTIFUL?
Miss 'Abby' decided this morning after breakfast that she really wanted to take a ride into town. We really had no destination in mind when we left, but I had a few errands to run (sometime in town, one being I had some movies to give the girls, horse related movies of course : ) , and the second is a good Christian Soup for the Soul book to give my Mom, so I loaded all of them into the 'little black car' before we left for "just in case".. So, without knowing where to go, first we went to the Good Will store, one of our favorites, 'Abby' and 'Nate' enjoy it too, and both were with us, so why not? Then they suggested the Dollar Tree (one of their favorites) , so we went there. Then we went by 'A' and 'K's' house to give them their movies. As usual it was great seeing all of them. They are so grown up now! Hard to believe that they have grown so much. But they are still beautiful, sweet, wonderfully respectful, precious, smart christian girls. Amazing, and just so smart! 'Nate' and 'Abby' enjoyed seeing them also. And it was good visiting with Chris and 'Kim' also ; } always is! We didn't mean to stay as long as we did, but we were just enjoying ourselves, time really went by. Hope we didn't over stay our welcome, I know they have things to do also. I had told them today that they could come up anytime, that the mud was finally dried up.. and now it's raining! Figures, don't it?

Then my Mom's house is pretty close by, so we stopped by there. No one was at home, so I left the book and the box I had for her on the front porch. I know she'll find it, and know it was from me, since we had already talked about both of them. She has been having such a hard time physically lately.. probably for the last 16-18 months at least.. GOD BLESS!

Then we went by Burger King for a late lunch, and a lot of conversation.
And we stopped by the Pawn Shop, but Norman wasn't there, so we went by his house. We dropped 'Nate' off there to save them a trip up here in the country to pick him up. We knew it wouldn't have been long before they came to get him anyway. He don't go to church with us, he would rather be with his dad.. it's sort of there time.

Then back to the country. Once here, I got some laundry and cleaning done, and 'Abby' and I made us a jewelry set each for tomorrow. Her's is green with yellow and green butterflies. The beads are two shades of green, crystal, and yellow, her bracelet was all three colors of beads only, the necklace was all three colors of beads plus a butterfly, and her earrings were butterflies only. They will match her new green dress just fine. Mine were a really pale pink and crystal beads, and the necklace only had a pretty heart with the same color pale pink set in it. Oh well, we sort of like our ole 'hand crafted jewelry'. Good enough for us! ; )
