OH, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

BLUE BIRDS OF HAPPINESS
HOPE YOU ARE FEELING HAPPINESS IN YOUR HEART TOO!
Blessed Be Your Name
Blessed Be Your Name In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name
Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name
Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say Lord,
Blessed be Your name

After church today, we were invited to a friend of ours house to go over somethings they have planned for church (with the kids) .. Were we ever so surprised to find out that they had lunch ready, and insisted that we at least ate some. (so we did, they had hamburgers and hot dogs from the grill, mac salad, chicken pot pie (a huge one), green beans, and a delicious cake (Norman and I ate a hamburger each and then shared a small piece of cake) So, when it came to a later lunch time at our house, (I cooked cubed steak with a savory beef gravy, steak fries, green beans, and mac and cheese, and bread of course.. but oh, I just couldn't eat a bite.. So, I have supper ready also ; ) Thankfully Norman, and Norman J. and 'Nate' all ate a full meal, and 'Abby' ate some mac and cheese.
It is nice to feel so much like we are fitting in really well, and so accepted at our new church. Honestly we couldn't ask for better, we went from one loving church to another loving church (that is so much closer to home) . THANK YOU GOD!

Speaking of church, I was also ask to be a part of the meal coming up at one of the things coming up, where they feed collage students one time a month? I don't know all the exact things about it, but sure, I'll make a few covered dishes and send (it's in Lexington). I don't mind at all, makes you feel like you're doing a little extra for God! "THANKS FOR ASKING"

Hasn't it been a BEAUTIFUL DAY today? Sure beats the rain they were talking about.. The teens were having some special events down in Clifton Forge today, so I am thankful that the rain held off for them. THANKS GOD! It is an awesome site to see teens really interested in praise and worship. Thanks God for all the songs that really help keep them listening and singing your praises. THANK YOU FOR THE BEAUTIFUL DAY!

Another weekend about gone, ; { I love the weekends! How about you?
I appreciate my 'week day' job, VERY MUCH! And I pray that it will very soon work into full time with benefits. One of my favorite things about it is that I am off on the weekends, thus I am able to attend church every Sunday, and off in the evenings, so I can go on Wednesday nights also. THANKS GOD! PLEASE IF IT BE YOUR WILL, HELP IT TO WORK INTO FULL TIME.

To my surprise we looked out the window this evening and first a huge turkey flew right up out of our front yard.. Homer decided that it was to big for him and came inside, I went to the front door, and here came the cat running also.. Guess that BIG BIRD, scared both of them! Then Norman looked out the front, and here was Gene and Mom. Poor thing, she had a time trying to get up the front steps (and there is only maybe 6 or 7, she was holding to the banisters with both hands as tight as she could. She says she has a bad cold, and having serious trouble breathing again. Also, she said she had to get up during the night last night and get her oxygen on for a good little while. And at times, she just seems so confused! LORD, HELP HER PLEASE. GRANT HER COMFORT PLEASE FOR THE REST OF HER DAYS HERE. I just really hate to see her struggle so much, and struggling trying to breath is uncomfortable to say the least, and once you get to the point of gasping, it can really feel serious. (I know, I went through it with this asthma, and had to use my 'puffer' last Saturday, so I know first hand those frightful feelings, and the feeling of discomfort in your chest from trying so hard to breath.) Pray for her please.
Oh, and she told me that my older sister Carole has bells palsy.. that she can't see out of one eye (at least for now) and the left side of her face has dropped, and her right eye keeps jumping.. I bet that's a scary feeling also, so please pray for her also. I am told though that 'a lot' of times the bells palsy clears up in 6 to 8 months or so. I surely hope so for her. Thank You My Friend.

Your Real Best Friend!
A dog is truly a man's best friend.
If you don't believe it, just try this experiment.
Put your dog and your wife in the trunk of the car for an hour.
When you open the trunk, who is really happy to see you?
