Ever felt like you would just like to afford to get out and re-do your whole yard?
There are so many beautiful flowers out! And many are shade loving flowers, which would be great for up here "in these woods" : } But it would take A LOT for our whole yard. Oh well, I'll just enjoy them where ever I see them! But, I would love to! "maybe someday". Because just every thing is soooo expensive, it's out of our reach and plans.Oh well, it don't hurt to dream and wish, as long as we don't dwell on it. If I don't get it done here, I am sure there will be BEAUTIFUL GARDENS when we get to our new home. (whenever that might be, and I am not rushing it, just ready, and that's the good part) It's a good feeling to know where you are headed for eternity, without a doubt. And I am thankful.. By the way I do have a few flowers blooming.. and yes, we are enjoying them.

Thankfully work went fine today, just another BUSY day, as usual.. But we've had A LOT WORSE, FOR SURE. So, I am glad that it was as good as it was. There was a FOX today at school! We didn't know what was going on when a message came across the intercalm for ALL THE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS TO STAY INDOORS.. then they called us from the office and warned us to be careful as we were going to our cars. I personally didn't see it, but they sure said it was there! Right scary since it was in the middle of the day!

Speaking of FLOWERS..
Kristi, Logan, Leisa, Nathan and Abigail brought Kristi's wedding flowers up today for me to do..
Their wedding will be in June, so I will have plenty of time. They should be really pretty once I get them done, because I have such pretty flowers to work with, and believe me, that makes a big difference. I hope and pray that they will be BEAUTIFUL for them and that their wedding is even more special and precious than they planned or hoped for. Lord help me please to do the very best that I can possibly do, and bless Kristi and Chuckie at their wedding and in their married life, and their precious little son. He's a doll for sure.

We don't have any plans for this evening, hard to tell what we'll get into. He's helping Bill again today, and Norman and Jeff are there too, so he'll probably come in tired.. That's okay, we'll just kick back and spend the evening together.. It don't have to be something going on to enjoy each others company. That is one of the good parts of a long, happy marriage : }

Crossing the Border!
Flying home after visiting her daughter in England, a woman arranged to have her husband meet her plane at the Vancouver, B.C., airport. This meant a stop at the border crossing between the United States and Canada, where her husband was asked, "What is your reason for entering the country?" and "How long are you planning to stay?"He replied that he was picking his wife up at the airport after her trip to England.Without missing a beat, the guard asked two more questions in the same business-like tone: "Is the house clean?" and "Are there fresh flowers on the table?"

since it's the beginning of the weekend, here is another something I thought to be rather cute, enjoy ...................> The Minister's Brandy!
The minister of a city church enjoyed a drink now and then, but his passion was for peach brandy. One of his congregants would make him a bottle each Christmas. One year, when the minister went to visit his friend, hoping for his usual Christmas present, he was not disappointed, but his friend told him that he had to thank him for the peach brandy from the pulpit the next Sunday.In his haste to get the bottle, the minister hurriedly agreed and left. So the next Sunday the minister suddenly remembered that he had to make a public announcement that he was being supplied alcohol from a member of the church. That morning, his friend sat in the church with a grin on his face, waiting to see the minister's embarrassment.The minister climbed into the pulpit and said, "Before we begin, I have an announcement. I would very much like to thank my friend, Joe, for his kind gift of peaches ... and for the spirit in which they were given!" (oh my, thankfully all ministers don't have that habit!.. hopefully none really does!)
