That matters so much at all.
It's the gentle hand and its loving touch,
That make it great or small.
The friends who come and the hour they
The friends who come and the hour they
Who out of your house depart,
Will judge it not by the style you show,
But rather by the size of your heart.
It isn't the size of your head so much,
It isn't the size of your head so much,
It isn't the wealth you found.
That will make you happy -- it's how you touch
The lives that are all around.
For making money may be hard --
For making money may be hard --
To live life well is an art:
How people love you, how they regard,
Is all in the size of your heart.

THANK YOU GOD, THAT TODAY IS FRIDAY!
FURTHER MORE, THANK YOU THAT WE HAVE A THREE DAY WEEKEND THIS WEEK, I SURELY NEED IT! TODAY WAS ONE OF THOSE DAYS AT WORK TODAY.
THE LORD KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT ; ( gee
PRAY FOR ME PLEASE THAT I CAN FIND ANOTHER JOB, WHERE I WILL STILL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT TO CHURCH TWICE ON SUNDAYS AND ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS, AND THAT THINGS WILL ME MUCH EASIER TO TOLERATE, AND THAT EVERYONE WILL BE TREATED EQUALLY AND WITH SOME RESPECT, OR AT LEAST THAT HE WILL GIVE HIS GUIDANCE AND BLESSINGS THERE AT THIS JOB. I do my work and then some, and try my very best to be loving and kind to everyone, I just would appreciate some kindness in return, or at least to not be yelled at for no reason, and such. Guess maybe I am just saying 'treated fairly, and just like everyone else.'
----------------------------
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him,and he will direct your paths.

===================
Sweet Abigail called this afternoon wanting to come up and spend the night. I need her presence in my life, and especially tonight, because (she like the rest of my grandchildren) brighten my life! Sometimes it just takes a while to get over verbal abuse, or maybe I am unusual ? Or maybe it's because I don't treat anyone like that! Oh well, it will be really good for her to be here, she takes my mind off of everything. (Oh, I know "if I had a violin maybe I could play the blues".. no, I am not pitying myself, it's just that I like everyone else, do not like to be abused, verbal or any other kind!) THANK YOU GOD FOR ALL OF OUR PRECIOUS GRANDCHILDREN. And thanks Norman and Leisa, for sharing the kids with us, we appreciate it, and love all of you!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Speaking of Leisa, please keep her in your prayers still... She is still battling her health issue, waiting on the help she needs. GOD BLESS!
--------------------------
NINE more days to work this school year! Actually 8 more days of school!
Guess it will be over with before we know. I am praying to find work through the summer too, for both Norman and I, so maybe we can make a few bills happy : /
"It's not the love of money, but the actual need of money" Many of us have it anymore, sad (but truthful) to say. GOD BLESS!
------------------------------
Norman's family reunion is tomorrow (on his Mothers side), it's at the Moose (outside) . He always has to make polish sausage and sour kraut (to keep some of them happy) geez! Oh well, what ever! At least you feel loved and appreciated there. And after that is over with we are going to Stonewall down Clifton Forge to a hymn sing with Mom and Gene.. now that is my kind of day! And the next day is Sunday.. always a good day for us.
---------------------------
Miss Abigail is here now, so I'll get off of here.. just keep us in your prayers please and we'll keep you all in ours. We appreciate every prayer sent up in our behalf. GOD BLESS!
The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time;
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next. Amen.
A special thank you friends (old and new) for the prayers, and know that you all (even the ones we don't yet know) are in our prayers also. Have a terrific evening and weekend, and GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS.
-----------------------
This just came up on my computer (it was the last part of another poem) but I thought it to be very fitting.. enjoy! Wow, don't God work in mysterious ways?
Tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a little prayer that God will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all to be more understanding of those who are different from us!
