OH MY, DON'T YOU LOVE IT?

DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THIS WEATHER?
BOY, I SURELY DO, THANK YOU GOD!
THIS YELLOW FLOWER IS A WILD MOSS ROSE,
Just like the couple that I planted today, I jut think they are so pretty, and NO THORNS!
I also planted some "rose splash" (it's a little border type plant with pink spotted leaves) and I planted another coleus (deep purple with bright green edges on the large wide leaves) .. Just really wanted to add a few touches that I never felt like doing last summer.. THANKS GOD.
My Wild Moss Rose
I had a garden, which I kept
With busy hands and tender care;
And once, while carelessly I slept,
Fanned softly by the drowsy air,
A wild moss rose to my garden crept,
And blossomed there.
O, sweet surprise. It seemed to me,
Some fair hand, my heart to bless,
Had brought it there, from wood or lee.
It came unsought 'twas loved no less;
I stooped and touched it tenderly, With soft caress.
I grew to love it passing well;
While strange exotics, rich and rare,
With heart of gold and crimson bell,
Paid grudgingly for constant care,
My wild moss rose, as in a woodland dell,
Bloomed fresh and fair. I watered not, I did not prune,
I tied it not with cord or thong;
Yet, morn by morn and noon by noon,
Through days of summer, hot and long,
And underneath the midnight moon,
From branches strong
Hung clustered blossoms yellow, pink and red;
And day by day and week by week,
I trod the path which toward it lead.
Whate'er my mood. I did not speak,
But close against bowed my head And pressed my cheek.
I think of it with sudden thrill.
Now wide lands lie, deep water flows,
Smiles many a vale, looms many a hill
Between me and the garden-close;
Yet fondly I remember still
My sweet wild moss rose.

If I have any luck with the few flowers we've planted, we should have a few splashes of color here and there this summer. (last summer, I was sick all summer long, seemed like summer never even happened, makes this summer even sweeter.) I look forward to a sweet summer time, and hopefully a lot of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers LORD'S WILLING :-) "love those garden veggies, and can think of so many ways to prepare them".. Can't you? Veggie tray's is one of my favorites ; ) Oh, and our favorite type of macaroni salad (with our special dressing) YUM! Made even sweeter by growing the veggies : } If you have a garden out, GOOD LUCK ALSO!

Sunday morning services were going very smoothly when suddenly a flash of light and smoke appeared in front of the pulpit followed by a large "BOOM". When the smoke cleared, the astonished congregation saw a red figure complete with horns, pitchfork and tail. Immediately, panic set in. People crowded through the doors, trampling each other in their rush to get away. Satan watched the retreat with great glee, but his mood was disturbed by the sight of one woman still lounging comfortably in her pew. "Do you not know who I am?" , Satan thundered.The woman's reply was nonchalant, "Sure I do."Satan was puzzled. "Do you not fear me?" "Nope." "Why not?"
The woman snorted, "What for? I've been working with your sister for 2 long years!"

Tomorrow is 'exchange day' for us... sad thing is (ha) it's already 'exchanged' all except for the act of actually doing it... Ever had those type of paydays : / Now day's, who hasn't?
But we could be doing a lot worse, we could be totally unemployed! (woops, that one is a bad choice of words, since I will be unemployed in 11 more days) uh, uh.... Anyway, things could be a lot worse! We could both be seriously ill or just to honoree to work (ha).. But, we aren't and we are very thankful. God has a plan for us : } and we are both sooo grateful!
