LOOKS LIKE A PERFECT DAY TO GO SWIMMING

REMINDS ME OF A PLACE WHERE

WE USED TO GO TUBING

When we camped at Circle H Camp Ground

we found a little WONDERFUL PLACE for tubing that

no one else seemed to know about. Which made it

perfect for us! And we didn't tell anyone but family about

it either. We would tube down between a place with

rocks on both sides (like in the picture) and you would

go SO FAST, that all you could do was hold on and squeal.

We all had a blast there, and our little secluded swimming

area away from the original swimming area, but it was

really MUCH BETTER! We sort of liked getting our

family off to ourselves. The ole camp ground has been closed

down a long time now probably 25 years or so.

But the memories remain.The kids had as much fun there

(or maybe even more than we did)

The Captain Can't Swim!

I worked in the biology department at Buffalo State

College in New York. The Great Lakes Laboratory,

also stationed at the college, employed a licensed boat

captain to man its research vessel. It was common

knowledge that the captain couldn't swim.

When newcomers learned of this, they would

approach him about it."Is it true?" one of them

asked incredulously. "You, a boat captain, can't swim?"

"No, I can't," he replied. "Can pilots fly?"

As for me, well today I worked on Laundry, the house

and cleaned the refrigerator and refrigerator freezer.

Whew, I am glad that it's over with! Seems like

no time ago that I just cleaned it! It don't take long.

Just a week or two ago we cleaned out the big

freezer out in the patio, that was a HUGE job! I am

glad that he really helped me get that done, in fact

he did the most of it! THANKS BABE!

Sounds like terrific jobs for such a warm day,

don't it. But sometimes you've just gotta' do what

you have gotta' do.

Norman, thankfully went tonight to a little

Kountry store locally and got us a delicious

pizza for supper. I am glad that he thought of it

and offered, so I didn't have to heat the house up

even more trying to cook supper.

The next two weekends now we have weddings to

attend. The first (next Saturday) is for our

nephew Chuckie and Kristie (it's local) He is

the son of one of Norman's brothers. Then the

next Saturday is my sister's daughter

Cassie and Shannons wedding.. It will be in WV

Dear God, thank You for Jesus, Your love, grace, mercies,

forgiveness, and blessings. Thank You for forgiving and

saving even me. Thank You for Norman, (our love, closeness,

health, safety, and marriage) Thank You for our precious

family, our extended families, our church families, our friends,

neighbors, and co-workers. Bless each of us please 'spiritually',

physically, emotionally, mentally, financially (not for the love

of money, but for the lack of and need of money these days.. so

many of us really need help). Bless us to please with inner peace,

safety, and happiness. Help us to live pleasingly to You.

Father, please comfort Candi and her husband at the loss of

her little son Kolton. Bless Leisa Monday with the news she needs

and desires to hear, and help her with her physical problem.

Bless Mom, Barbara's Mom, and Frances and heal their

health issues please, let them all feel You loving hand

and guidance in their treatments and healing. Draw them

all closer to You. Bless Joann and her family especially

while her husband is overseas. Grant him protection and them all

inner peace and You loving help and guidance.

Bless our country please and guide our leaders to lead the

way You would have them to. Bless our soldiers please and protect

them, grant them and their families inner peace and safety, also

draw them all closer to You. Thank You Father for all that You

have done for us, we give You our love, thanks, honor, praise

and glory in Jesus Holy name, amen.
