AH, TO SLEEP LIKE A BABY

AH, TO SLEEP LIKE A BABY!

WHEW! we got sort of mixed up on our time

during the summer since we were both at

home 24/7

Like a baby, we sort of got our days and

nights mixed up..

(now to be fair, we still got up semi early...

always by 10:00 : )

but we were usually up to 1:00 or 1:30 AM

Getting Up Late!

Bob had this problem of getting up late

in the morning and was always late for work.

After a few weeks of this, his boss was mad and threatened

to fire him if he didn't do something about it.

So Bob went to his doctor, who gave him a pill and told

him to take it before he went to bed.

He got a great night's sleep and actually beat the alarm

in the morning. After a leisurely breakfast,

he cheerfully drove to work."Boss," he said,

"the pill my doctor prescribed actually worked!"

"That's all fine," said the boss, "but where were you yesterday?"

I had to take an evening off from helping peal apples today..

Had some things around the house that needed attention.

Sometimes you've gotta do what you've gotta do..

And MOM COMES FIRST..

But still, somethings have to be done.. like laundry and such.

I've been there three evenings this week already..

(and I'm not at all complaining) I appreciate spending time with her.

So, Mom... maybe tomorrow evening..

I have tried to call her several times this evening.. but

either she's on the phone, or the jack is loose again.

I hope and pray that she's had a better night last night, and

day today than she had yesterday. She was miserable!

We just finished supper, and I read this...

hope you get a chuckle out of it also.

Harry was in big trouble when he forgot his wedding anniversary.
His wife told him, "Tomorrow there better be something in

the driveway for me that goes from zero to 200 in 2 seconds flat!"
The next morning his wife found a small package in the driveway.

She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.
Not sure when Harry gets out of the Hospital...
