1,440 minutes a day.. what do you do with yours?

God gives you 1,440 free minutes every day
 How Much Time Do You Spend with God?

As much as some companies might advertise "free minutes" the fact is that the minutes of our day are actually a free gift from God alone. Every day God gives each of us 1,440 minutes – no strings attached – no contract to sign. What do we do with those minutes? Do we give any of them back to God? Consider these options: Can you spend 1 minute every morning thanking God for His blessings and asking Him how He wants you to use your gift? Can you spend 10 minutes at the beginning or end of each day in quiet prayer, spiritual reading and reflection? Can you commit to giving God 60 minutes every week for His Will? Do you give Him the love, thanks, honor, praise and glory daily for all the many wonderful blessings in your life? Think about it, even the air we breathe, or the very fact that we are able to breathe, blessing, right?

                 ======================================================
TODAY, I HAVE BEEN BUSY INSIDE THE HOUSE.. I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO DO THESE THINGS ALL WEEK, BUT THE OPPORTUNITY JUST HAS NOT PRESENTED ITSELF. MONDAY, ABIGAIL AND I WENT TO TOWN AND LAID HER A FLAT SCREEN TV AWAY FOR HER NEW ROOM WE JUST PAINTED AND COMPLETELY RE-DECORATED.. (this also is the reason for the rest of my "wish list")  ALSO, WE WORKED (helping Norman on the park for the chickens).THEN TUESDAY ALL OF US (MY CO-WORKERS AND MYSELF) HAD A MEETING TO ATTEND IN EAGLE ROCK, FIXED SUPPER AND WORKED MORE ON THE CHICKEN PARK..  WEDNESDAY WE PAINTED PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE CHICKEN HOUSE THAT WE'VE JUST DONE FOR THE BANTAM CHICKENS, (also that is the day that Norman came home real early sick).. YESTERDAY, I ADDED A BOARD TO COVER THE EDGE OF THE FENCE WHERE IT ATTACHES TO THE CHICKEN COOP AND PAINTED IT, THEN I ADDED THE BLUE HEAVY MACHINE FELT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FENCE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PEN TO PREVENT ANYTHING FROM DIGGING UNDER THE FENCE (Norman is still sick, his fever broke later in the day, but he is still weak, dizzy, queasy, and just feels bad) THEN TODAY FINALLY I GOT TO GO THROUGH ALL THE STUFF WE TOOK OUT OF ABIGAIL'S ROOM AND PLACE IT ON SHELVES.. (I packed 2/3 of it up to take to the Good Will store) "IT'S AMAZING HOW "WE" GATHER UP SO MANY THINGS.. (I decided to take all my heavy quilts and comforters to the good will store, it's just to hard on my washer and dryer to clean them, also our extra sheet sets that no longer match our bedrooms) Thankfully I did clean everything before I had packed them away, so they are fine.. but they are all going! THE REST WENT ON THE SHELVES I HAVE PREPARED FOR THEM (the sheet sets, I just place the whole set inside one of the pillow cases and it keeps them all together.. THEN I STARTED ON OUR BLANKETS, WHEW, I KEPT A GOOD MANY BUT YET A GOOD MANY IS GOING TO THE GOOD WILL STORE (ALL THE REAL HEAVY ONES) THEN ON TO THE LITTLE TOTES OF BEADS (for making jewelry, one of Abigail's and my hobbies) ALSO EXTRA OCCASION CARDS, BOARD GAMES,  CERAMIC PAINTS AND BRUSHES, AND THEN JUST SOME SMALL DECORATIVE THINGS WE'VE GATHERED.. (not exactly for any certain purpose, guess they will be the next to go).. Anyway, and thankfully they are all on a special set of shelves.. THANK YOU GOD FOR HELPING ME TO GET ALL THESE THINGS DONE.. HOPEFULLY, I AM NO WHERE NEAR DONE FOR TODAY, I STILL HAVE LOTS OF CLEANING TO DO, AND I HOPE TO GET THE KIDS BEDROOMS CLEANED (that will be a job and a half!) Hummm, I am NOT SURE that I can get it all done in the 1440 minutes allowed for today (*.*) lol BUT I AM OFF TOMORROW TOO AND I FEEL SURE THAT IF I KEEP BUSY THAT I CAN AT LEAST MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE! "LORD HELP ME PLEASE AND THANK YOU , AND THANK YOU FOR THE TIME" I AM WANTING TO GET A LOT OF THINGS DONE BEFORE OUR REGULAR WORK YEAR BEGINS ON WEDNESDAY.. BUT MONDAY I HAVE TO HELP MY CO-WORKERS PUT THE SUPPLIES AWAY AND GET THINGS READY FOR SCHOOL TO START ON WEDNESDAY (AND US TO COOK FOR IT) TUESDAY I WORK MY LAST DAY FOR HEAD START FOR THE SUMMER.. THEN WEDNESDAY
 SCHOOL STARTS!
SO FAR I HAVE GOT THREE LARGE TRASH BAGS FULL OF THINGS FOR THE GOOD WILL STORE AND THREE ROOMS TO GO! HOPEFULLY SOME WILL MAKE SOME USE OUT OF THEM.. THE ONE BAG HAS A COMPLETE BEDROOM SET.. SHEETS, SHAMS, BRAND NEW CURTAINS STILL IN THE PACKS, AND A DUST RUFFLE.. (I just didn't like the curtains with the set, so I never even opened them) OH WELL, NO NEED TO KEEP THEM, THAT'S FOR SURE!
             =====================================================
BLESS HIS HEART, NORMAN HAS SLEPT MOST OF THE DAY. THE PHENERGAN HE'S TAKING FOR HIS UPSET TUMMY IS KEEPING HIM ASLEEP.. GUESS SLEEP IS A GOOD THING.. HE STILL EATS VERY LITTLE.. I TRY TO GET HIM TO EAT SOME, BEING CAREFUL AS TO WHAT I OFFER.. AND WHEN HE IS AWAKE HE STAGGERS TO THE BATHROOM.. STAYS IN THERE A GOOD BIT TOO (*.*) GEE.. HE SAYS HE JUST HURTS ALL OVER.. KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS PLEASE.. I REALIZE WITH A VIRUS, IT MOSTLY HAS TO JUST RUN ITS COURSE.. BUT I TRY TO KEEP HIM AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE.. POOR FELLA.. THIS... HIS LAST WEEK OF WORK (or so they had said) AND HE'S MISSED 2 1/2 DAYS OF IT OR JUST A LITTLE MORE.. GO FIGURE!
                    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ANYHOW, ITS OFFICIAL.. WE WON'T BE GOING CAMPING THIS EVENING.. FROM WHAT THE NEWS SAYS, IT'S SUPPOSED TO RAIN THIS EVENING ANYWAY.. BUT I JUST COULDN'T EVEN SUGGEST TO HIM TO GO CAMPING AS MISERABLE AS HE IS.. SO, WE WILL STAY HOME.. NO PROBLEM (I have plenty to do to stay busy anyway, if only I can keep myself busy!) I've got to get up from here now and go feed these 42 big chickens, 22 bantam chickens, 5 roller pigeons, 2 guineas.. So yes, it's plenty to do! The fish, cats and dog have been fed already. AND I HOPE AND PRAY THAT THE REST WILL HAVE A BLAST CAMPING.. GOD BLESS EACH OF THEM! HELP THEM PLEASE FATHER TO MAKE SOME WONDERFUL MEMORIES!
                          =============================================
      GUESS WE'LL PACK ALL OUR CAMPING THINGS AWAY UNTIL NEXT YEAR!
BUT THAT WILL WAIT THANKFULLY UNTIL HE FEELS MUCH MORE LIKE HELPING ME.. WE HAVE A GOOD MANY THINGS TO PACK UP, AND SOME ARE HEAVY!
                                  -----------------------------------------------------------------------
ONE THING ABOUT STAYING SO BUSY, WHEN EVENING ROLLS AROUND, YOU APPRECIATE THE VERY IDEA OF "KICKING BACK" A LITTLE.. LOL AND WE SEEM TO REALLY MAKE THE BEST OF OUR RECLINING  LOVE SOFA.. HA..  I DREAD THE THOUGHTS OF WINTER BEING AS CLOSE AS IT IS.. JUST THINK, FOUR MONTHS FROM NOW... IT WILL BE CHRISTMAS! WOW! WHERE DOES TIME GO??
                           =================================================

 Try this test for one week. Keep track of the time you spend with God and the time you spend talking, texting, surfing the Internet watching TV. Considering that God gives you 1,440 free minutes every day, is He getting His fair share back from you?
